Turning lives around.

Our story

Despite being in 18th place, their two wins this season against Union (including a dramatic 2–1 late comeback in November) have been rare highlights in a difficult campaign. Head-to-Head History

The club has struggled for consistency, leading to the departure of manager Bo Svensson earlier in the season following a poor winless run. They are currently hovering just above the relegation playoff spot.

Mathias Honsak set the tone with two first-half goals in the 9th and 36th minutes, assisted by Marvin Pieringer and Patrick Mainka.

Budu Zivzivadze sealed the 3–1 win in the 79th minute, capitalizing on an assist from Jan Schöppner.

While Union Berlin held more possession (55%) and took more shots (10 vs 7), Heidenheim was far more efficient, converting three of their three shots on target into goals. Seasonal Context & Standings
