Felt, towels, or cotton cloths for drying. Steps to Make Homemade Paper
Submerge your mould and deckle into the tub and pull it straight up. Let the water drain through the mesh, leaving a flat layer of fibers behind. orxan_murad_xilyadi_slnca
Making paper at home is a simple way to recycle old scraps into beautiful, textured sheets. The process generally involves turning waste paper into a pulp, screening it to form a sheet, and drying it. Waste Paper: Recycled newspaper, copy paper, or junk mail. Water & Blender: To break the paper down into pulp. Felt, towels, or cotton cloths for drying

Carefully flip the wet sheet onto a flat, absorbent cloth. Use a sponge to press out excess water through the back of the screen.
Fill a large tub with a few inches of water and stir in your blended pulp. For unique effects, you can add flower petals, seeds, or liquid watercolors at this stage.

The suggested approach to learning and practice, and the advice of Dr.Cate Hummel in this article, is very valuable and effective for flutists to study a wide repertoire thoughtfully and in depth, while mastering the instrument at the highest level. Great ideas also for teachers. Thank you!
Muchas gracias Dra. Cate por sugerir revisar la bibliografía de un gran maestro legendario de la flauta como fue Moyse y su influencia en el estudio de la flauta moderna. Excelente artículo que anima a investigar sobre el tema.
Great article, dear Cate, and not only for students…
Congratulations!
This was a great article. It makes me want to dig the book out. I don’t think I’ve had anybody tell me exactly how to work through it though. Do you just play The Melodies until they sound as pretty as you think they can? Thanks!!
Awesome work! Thank you
I’m so glad I found your article. I am a saxophonist researching instrumental methods and teachers who allude to singing. I would love to read your dissertation on Moyse’s approach! I hope to hear from you.
